Patience was previously owned by one of our Wranglers, Morgan Smith. We may never know what relationships and impacts Patience made before she was owned and renamed by Morgan, but we do know that God ordained the exact time this horse and girl would cross paths in this world. In the summer of 2018, Patience came to live in Morgan’s pasture. In the months following, Morgan had the joy of getting to know this sassy, sweet, bold mare. They became a herd of two and lessons were learned about courage, fear, and trust. Although they grew to love each other, Morgan knew Patience longed to be with other horses. During the first months of 2021, Morgan felt in her heart that God was calling Patience to serve at the Ranch and by March she joined our family. One of the greatest joys of life is to bless others with the gifts God’s given us! Patience’s story is a testament to how beautifully God writes our stories, if only we trust him.
