The Ranch originally purchased Angel for its programs. However, due to past abuse, she was extremely fearful, meaning only experienced equestrians could ride her. In 2008, the Ranch decided Angel would benefit from becoming a one-person horse. This opened the door for Mrs. Brooks, the Program Director, to fulfill her lifelong dream of horse ownership by purchasing Angel.

Morgan - The Morgan is one of the oldest American horse breeds, tracing its lineage back to a single founding stallion named Figure. Figure’s sire was an English Thoroughbred with Arabian bloodlines. When Figure became famous, his owner, Justin Morgan, renamed the stallion after himself.
Arabian - As the oldest purebred horse, the Arabian originated in the Middle East and was used by the Bedouin people as a war horse. This breed is hot-blooded, sensitive, and highly intelligent.
