The Big Event

Greetings Yall,

Are you hungry, looking to kick up your heels, or maybe would just enjoy a great story about our national heritage?

Civil War Re-Enactors and the STR Wranglers

We are just two weeks away from our 2nd Annual Harvest Hoedown. Things have been buzzing out at the ranch the past few weeks getting ready for the "Big Event". Our Wranglers have been putting in lots of saddle time to prepare for their part in "A Tribute to Old Glory". We have been going over the story line and getting costumes in order. If you are interested in history, horses, or are just a fellow patriot, you will really enjoy the show we have planned for you.

Colonel Terry Crowder As part of the entertainment there will be sabers and other Civil War era weapons as the local militia will be joining us. Don't let the word militia scare you off, as it is a local Civil War re-enactment group joining us with their exciting demonstrations on horseback. We are thrilled to have Colonel Terry Crowder, commander of the First Federal Division and his troops join us for this special event. I am including this link to an article from Western Shooting Horse about Terry; it speaks for itself.

After the show there will be a lakeside chili supper and then a festive old-fashioned square dance under the stars.

Please check your calendar and pen us in for October 17th, 3:30 PM.

Also please keep this event in your prayers. Pray for safety for all involved, perfect weather and a fun time in great fellowship.

For more information see our website.

I hope to see you there,

Keith Breisch for all the staff at Strong Tower Ranch
